A Shifting End Times Chronology Regarding Jesus

The Watchtower has always focused on end times chronology as it relates to Jesus.

When Charles Taze Russell began publishing, he called his magazine, “Zion’s Watch Tower and Herald of Christ’s Presence.” (Jehovah’s Witnesses—Proclaimers of God’s Kingdom, p. 42)

The Watchtower claims that God’s revelation is progressive and that it therefore has to make “adjustments” in its teachings.

Will Jesus Spare Only Loyal Jehovah’s Witnesses at Armageddon?

The Watchtower believes that the battle of Armageddon is imminent and that when it comes Jehovah will destroy all the nations of the world.

But there will be survivors: Romans 10:13: “For ‘everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.’” (Scripture quotes in this post will be from the Watchtower translation)

Who will survive Armageddon? Continue reading
